From Examiner.com San Diego, Jan. 25, 2010:
According to guitarist and singer Tim Pinnell, "The Bedbreakers were formed in 1989 by myself and musical partner Alan Brown. We had played together in various bands since 1979, and decided to get a group together to play some blues and other American roots music. Harmonica player David Harrison joined up in the early 90's and added another great texture to the band. We spent most of the 90's playing around Southern California, notably at the Casbah and the Belly Up Tavern. In 1998 we released a CD, "Widetrack Town", which included a mix of originals and cover material. Our final show was at the Casbah on Feb. 25th, 2000, where we opened up for and played behind Chicago Blues veteran Hubert Sumlin.” On Saturday, former drummer Lance Soliday and bassist Jim Austin joined the Bedbreakers onstage.
