Before Die Kreuzen was born in 1982, [Dan] Kubinski and [Brian] Egeness were playing together in an adventurous punk band called the Stellas, moving from Rockford, Ill., to Milwaukee "simply because you only had to be 18 to play in the bars here," Kubinski recalled.
